The No.1 Co-Working Space

Befriending means more than just helping isolated individuals, its about creating new communities and sparking joy through our day to day relations. At No.1, we’ve taken this ethos and channeled it into an amazing co-working space in the heart of Glasgow’s city centre.

This new space, located in the iconic Cadogan Square, is a place where connections can be made, new skills can be learnt, confidence can be built and stories and ideas can be shared over a cup of tea.

A Happier Work Space

Following a small army of refurbishers, the space at Cadogan Square is now more than fit for purpose, with five separate offices, a boardroom, event space, kitchen, lounge and 24-hour reception, all located no more than a five minute walk from Central Station. The No.1 Befriending Agency will be the first tenant, but we’re calling upon other businesses, charities, individuals and projects to come and share the space to create a vibrant, buzzing social enterprise hub in the centre of Glasgow.

This new, thriving space came to fruition through a blend of ingenuity, hard-work and luck. We now want to share this opportunity with like-minded organisations who are driven to transform society, build communities and empower individuals. This co-working space will be the first of its kind in the city centre, offering a well equipped, spacious office specifically for third sector organisations. It’s very much a blank canvas waiting for individuals to bring it to life through day-to-day collaboration, inspiring acts and the sharing of stories, information and experiences.
